Home from Alaska....

Well, we are home at last.

It was an incredible journey and Alaska is a beautiful place. Definately God's country out there.

We were on our way by 4 p.m. last Saturday and I didn't even know we were moving! The ship was so smooth and steady. I have had motion sickness my entire life and not once did I get sick or even come close.

The kids thought it was a great way to travel and Stephanie has decided that we need to take a cruise every year for vacation. My sweet daughter is going to be so disapointed.

Everything on the ship was so much fun. I think my favorite was the Team Trivia. We started out as 'Team H' but before the second trivia game was over, we were known as 'Team Trouble' by the Cruise director staff. Apparently, we got a little loud when we got an answer right. We didn't think a cheer and a little dance was over the top, but...

It was a blast!

We did get off the ship in Ketchican, Juneau, Skagway, and Prince Rupert (Cananda). I loved the Alaskan Ports of Call, but in my opinion they can save the diesel and skip Prince Rupert. There was nothing in that little town that was #1 affordable or #2 worth having.

We enjoyed ourselves more than I thought we would and I can see a cruise story line in my future.

Talk more later,
Cindi
