I'm taking a few days and going to the Lake House. It is so darned hot here, that I think a few days on the Coast of Oregon will do us all good. I plan on leaving Wednesday, but you know how that goes...as soon as I decided to go, the engine light in my new van went on and now I will be spending the better part of tomorrow at the dealership having the 'computer' and all that goes with that looked at.
I plan on finishing my next story, HAWK, while I'm there. The Lake House is very peaceful and is a great place to let the imagination run free.
Sophia, our Pom-Chi, loves the ocean. When we got her for my daughter as a companion dog, they told us that Chiuauas or Pomeranians don't play with toys, or make very good playful companions. They said Chiuauas and Pomeranians are lap dogs and if we wanted a dog to fetch and play then we should get a Golden Retriever or a Lab...well, I think they forgot to tell Sophia she was a Chiuaua/Pomeranian because she plays with toys, plays fetch, tug-o-war, and her favorite game is catching the Frisbee! She races on the beach and has more fun playing Monkey in the Middle than the kids ever did. She is truly my daughters best friend and is a joy to us all. So, don't let anyone tell you that these little dogs don't play and fetch, they most certainly do!
Hopefully, I will be able to get on-line while I'm gone, but if not, then I will catch you all up when I get back.
